LESLIE M. CORLEY PRESIDENT & CHIEF
EXECUTIVE OFFICER Mr. Corley has 30 years of experience in the
investment industry, spanning securities research and analysis, investment
management, corporate finance, and strategic planning. He founded LM Capital
in 1988 after a seven year career at Kelso & Company in order to pursue a
broader range of investment banking opportunities. While a general partner at Kelso & Company,
the firm that invented Employee Stock Ownership Plans, Mr. Corley chaired its
Executive Committee and developed the investment criteria followed by the
firm in its merchant banking activities. As partner, he was involved in
arranging over $1.5 billion of financing for eleven buyouts, and the $16
million invested in these transactions resulted in profits of approximately
$88 million. He also headed financial advisory engagements with such clients
as Harcourt Brace Jovanovich; Koppers; Barry Wright
Corporation; Graniteville; and, while at LM Capital, IBM and Charter Medical
Corporation. Shortly after joining Kelso & Company in
1981, Mr. Corley was involved with the successful $140 million buyout of Dentsply International, Inc. in 1982. Some of the
subsequent major buyout transactions involving Mr. Corley were: Earlier in his career, Mr. Corley worked with
the renowned Peter Lynch at Fidelity Investments in Mr. Corley earned a B.S. degree with High
Honors in Aeronautical & Astronautical
Engineering from the RICARDO CORLEY Vice President/Director Mr. Corley has fifteen years experience in
finance and investments and has been involved with LM Capital since its
formation in 1988. His responsibilities with LM Capital include
administration, compliance, and reporting. He has served as vice president and treasurer
of LM Capital Corporation and as a director of LM Capital Securities, Inc.
